The Festival of Eastern Music is taking place once in two years on the last week of August. Some friends of mine posed a question about where to get the tickets to this legendary event. It takes place at the square of Registan. While posing this question many people answered they didn’t have a clue. One of the most interesting answers was: “There are no tickets. There are only invitations to this festival, the rest can watch it behind the fence or on TV.” Only honoured people, international guests and some delegations of tourists have an access to this festival.
