Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor-General’s Office: border control in Kyrgyzstan’s direction must be strengthened

“More serious technical control and physical barriers against smugglers are necessary along the border in the Kyrgyz direction,” said an official representative of the Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor-General’s Office. “There are more than 50 byways and country roads where people can get across the border without being tracked by any border control. These roads are used for smuggling large amounts of Chinese goods”, he added.
